In 1974, April 6th, Portugal was represented by Paulo de Carvalho with the song "Depois do Adeus". The song only got the 14th place, with 3 points, but was later, in April 25th of the same year, on of the songs played during the "Revolução dos Cravos" a.k.a. "25 de Abril". Enjoy it!

Again, this was an unfair classification to Portugal, but I don't care, because I know how wonderful this song is! ;D
This music is very important for Portugal.
This song has the 'call' of Portuguese troops to "fight" to obtain freedom.
